In my defense, the postcard game was strong in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s. Every awesome store, restaurant, and bar had stands advertising pretty much anything and everything. I had a compulsion to take every single one, every single time. It was free artwork! It was a memory of the place I had been too! It did not make sense!
I told myself that I would make a bad ass collage or work them into my journal. I would use the designs as inspiration to create art. All that happened was they sat in a yellow & red Tower Records bag for several years.
I let myself keep a few of them but I tossed the rest…
