Yes, the hair. I know. I was into the hippie look but I had thick, curly hair that refused to lay flat even after intense blow out sessions. I topped the look off with a flowery Express shirt and a hemp necklace. In art class, we were asked to do a self portrait and I … Continue reading Self Portrait, Spring 1995

Change your life
I could not simply toss my old magazines (remember, I have a manageable hoarding problem)- so I cut out some interesting parts and made this weird storyboard. I think it is rather uplifting! ps- that is me at 9 yrs old (lower right side) on my way to St Paul's Elementary.
My first oil painting
Ok- it's no Salvador Dali (Tea "sur Iherbe") but I did draw inspiration from his painting. Not too bad considering it was my first attempt + my brushes were basic AF?! I love mixing the colors and it's beautiful how a slight change to the brush stroke can influence the feel of the painting.

Kansas City Chiefs Gnome

Burning Man Gnome
Living in SF inspires many things!
DC Gnome
In an extreme bout of homesickness for DC, I cut up an old kickball t-shirt and made a little buddy to remind me of home.
Levi’s SF Gnome
I love my Levi's jeans. It was the first store I went to when I moved to SF.
